This simplifies travel planning and turns every flight into an opportunity to earn rewards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To earn points, miles, or &#8220;tiles,&#8221; TrueBlue members simply need to enter their loyalty number when booking United-operated flights on United.com. Similarly, MileagePlus members can do so when booking JetBlue-operated flights on JetBlue.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2025\/10\/sky-airline-and-united-announce-interline-agreement.html\">SKY Airline and United Announce Interline Agreement<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For redemptions, users should continue to make their award bookings directly on their program&#8217;s website, selecting the option to search using points or miles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;With reciprocal redemption and earning now available, Blue Sky officially takes off,&#8221; both airlines stated in a joint release. &#8220;We are excited to offer our loyalty members the ability to use their program of choice when traveling across our complementary networks.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Upcoming Benefits from Blue Sky<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The companies revealed that this is only the first phase of the alliance, and the benefits will continue to expand progressively over the coming years. Among the upcoming highlights are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Combined Cash and Mile Awards<\/strong><br>Starting in the first quarter of 2026, users will be able to book itineraries on either airline using a combination of cash and points\/miles, broadening the possibilities for mixed-payment travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reciprocal Elite Benefits<\/strong><br>In 2026, shared benefits will arrive, such as priority boarding, preferred and extra-legroom seats, same-day changes and standby lists, among other exclusive privileges for members of both programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MileagePlus Travel Integration with Paisly<\/strong><br>Also in 2026, MileagePlus Travel \u2013 United&#8217;s travel extras service \u2013 will be powered by Paisly, LLC, the travel products company owned by JetBlue. Thanks to this integration, travelers will have more options for hotels, rental cars, cruises, packages, and travel insurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>United&#8217;s JFK Expansion with JetBlue Support<\/strong><br>JetBlue will support United&#8217;s expansion at New York&#8217;s JFK airport, facilitating access to up to seven daily round-trip flights from the new Terminal 6 starting in 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Strategic Boost for Both Airlines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With Blue Sky, JetBlue and United aim to create a more connected, efficient, and rewarding travel experience, while simultaneously strengthening their growth opportunities in the market.
