Ryanair<\/strong> has announced its winter 2025\/2026 schedule for Murcia Airport (Spain)<\/strong>, which will include a new route to London Stansted, operating four times weekly, alongside increased flight frequencies to Birmingham and Dublin. This operational increase represents a 37% growth in the airline’s capacity in Murcia during the winter season, offering travellers more connection options at competitive fares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new schedule reinforces Ryanair’s commitment to maintaining connectivity outside the peak season, boosting year-round tourism and supporting over 450 local jobs. This enhancement will provide residents and visitors with consistent access to key destinations in the UK and Ireland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline highlighted that its continued presence at Murcia Airport is part of its commitment to regional development and the expansion of year-round air traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the growth in Murcia, Ryanair confirmed it has been forced to cut one million seats from its overall winter 2025\/2026 schedule in Spain. The airline attributes this adjustment to the 6.62% increase in AENA airport charges and “ineffective incentive schemes,” which, according to the company, hinder the profitability of regional airports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ryanair, which has historically championed and invested in such airports, emphasized that uncompetitive charges limit its ability to continue expanding operations in certain parts of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alejandra Ruiz, Ryanair’s spokesperson in Spain, explained: “Ryanair is pleased to present its Winter 2025 schedule for Murcia, with four routes, including a new flight to London Stansted operating four times weekly, plus additional flights to Birmingham and Dublin. This new offering increases Ryanair’s capacity at Murcia Airport by 37%, providing our customers with even more choice at the lowest fares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The full Winter 2025\/2026 schedule is now available for booking on Ryanair’s website. Fares to and from Murcia are available from \u20ac24.99 for travel up to January 2026, a limited offer available until Sunday, 26th October 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
