With these additions, the company is expanding its international network from the Andalusian capital and strengthening its presence in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The connection between Seville and Florence, which will operate from Amerigo Vespucci Airport, will begin in September 2026 with two weekly frequencies, on Mondays and Fridays, offering over 3,000 seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the Seville-Lille route, destined for Lille-Lesquin Airport, will take off in May 2026 and will also have two weekly frequencies, on Thursdays and Sundays, with nearly 7,000 seats available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Network Expansion from the Andalusian Capital<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With these new destinations, Volotea will offer nine routes from Seville:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Four domestic: Asturias, Bilbao, San Sebastian, and Santander.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Five international: Bordeaux, Lille, Verona, Florence, and Athens (the latter operated as a codeshare with Aegean Airlines).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The company expects to reach 1.6 million passengers carried from the start of its operations in the city in 2012 by the end of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2025\/10\/volotea-announces-its-first-international-route-from-granada-with-flights-to-nantes-france.html\">Volotea Announces Its First International Route from Granada with Flights to Nantes, France<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During this year, Volotea has made nearly 290,000 seats available from Seville, a 16% increase compared to 2024. This figure represents the largest seat capacity in its history from the Andalusian capital and a 105% growth compared to 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Commitment to Growth in Spain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Gabriel Schmilovich, Volotea&#8217;s Chief Strategy Officer, highlighted the strategic role of Andalusia in the airline&#8217;s expansion plans:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We are very pleased to continue growing in Andalusia with the launch of these two new routes to Lille and Florence, which bring the total number of destinations Volotea offers from the Hispalis capital to nine. With these additions, we reinforce international connectivity with Italy and France, our main market, and expand travel options for Andalusians.
