Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) <\/strong>has unveiled its winter flight schedule, featuring a significant capacity increase and new routes from Copenhagen, thereby strengthening its position as the leading airline in Northern Europe. The new timetable promises more frequencies, improved connections, and a more comprehensive offering for passengers traveling within Scandinavia, Europe, and to other continents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The upcoming winter season marks a key phase with an optimized network. The results are clear: greater connectivity, improved schedules, and a more robust service for our customers in the Nordic countries and beyond. With new destinations, extended routes, and more flights, we continue to consolidate our leadership in the region,” said Henrik Winell, Vice President of Network at SAS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Year-Round Destinations and Routes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The winter schedule includes two new year-round routes: Vienna, with two daily frequencies, and Tel Aviv, with two weekly flights. They are joined by five winter leisure destinations: Marrakech, Funchal, Fuerteventura, Kittil\u00e4, and Turin. All itineraries are designed to integrate seamlessly with SAS’s broader network, which spans the Nordic countries, Europe, and intercontinental destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

40% More Seats and Enhanced Connectivity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Following a strong expansion during the summer of 2025, SAS will maintain 19 summer routes throughout the winter season as well. These include Nordic destinations such as Billund and Turku, European cities like Budapest, Lyon, and Krakow, in addition to intercontinental flights to Seoul and Toronto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compared to the previous winter, the company will offer 40% more seats, translating to 55% more connected destinations and 75% more transfer opportunities via Copenhagen Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
