This addition will enable the airline to expand its operations from Algiers towards new destinations in the Americas and Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Largest African A330neo Operator<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Algerian national airline plans to incorporate seven additional A330neo units, which will make it the largest operator of this model on the African continent. This strategy positions Air Alg\u00e9rie as a key player in the development of long-haul aviation in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cabin Configuration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Air Alg\u00e9rie&#8217;s new aircraft features a three-class configuration:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>18 full-flat seats in Business Class<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>24 seats in Premium Economy Class<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>266 seats in Economy Class<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2025\/07\/air-algerie-orders-16-atr-72-600-aircraft-largest-order-for-the-european-manufacturer-in-africa.html\">Air Alg\u00e9rie Orders 16 ATR 72-600 Aircraft: Largest Order For the European Manufacturer in Africa<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This layout aims to offer a more comfortable travel experience tailored to the needs of different passenger profiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Efficiency, Comfort, and Sustainability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The A330neo offers significant improvements in operational performance, fuel efficiency, and passenger experience. The aircraft is equipped with Airbus&#8217;s award-winning Airspace cabin, which provides more personal space, enlarged overhead bins, a state-of-the-art lighting system, and access to the latest in-flight entertainment and connectivity technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Center of Excellence and Maintenance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to operating the A330neo, Air Alg\u00e9rie aims to become a center of excellence for this model. To achieve this, it is developing its own maintenance and repair capabilities, as well as establishing a specialized training center for aircraft maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This advancement represents a new phase for Air Alg\u00e9rie, which is betting on innovation, sustainability, and international expansion as the pillars of its growth strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2
