The aircraft, named &#8220;Berlin,&#8221; will be delivered in December and is scheduled to arrive in Frankfurt shortly before Christmas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From Charleston to Everett: The Journey Before its Debut<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The aircraft received its distinctive paint job at Boeing&#8217;s facilities in Charleston, South Carolina. It was subsequently transported to Everett, Washington, as part of the process leading up to its official delivery. The blue fuselage is adorned with a white crane, the symbol of Lufthansa, whose wings merge with those of the aircraft itself. This integration turns the 787-9 into an aerial ambassador representing both the company&#8217;s legacy and its future vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Start of Operations Scheduled for January<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Following its arrival in Frankfurt, the D-ABPU is scheduled to begin regular operations in January. Its incorporation not only strengthens Lufthansa&#8217;s long-haul fleet but also adds a symbolic component to its flights, anticipating the centenary celebrations that will take place in
