The aircraft landed for the first time at Gregorio Luper\u00f3n International Airport (POP) in Puerto Plata, where it was welcomed by local authorities and representatives from the tourism sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Authorities Highlight Impact on Country&#8217;s Connectivity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Present during the welcoming ceremony was Igor Rodriguez, Director General of the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (IDAC). In his remarks, he emphasized that the arrival of this aircraft reflects the country&#8217;s commitment to a modern, efficient, and safe aviation sector. He affirmed that Arajet continues to raise industry standards and solidify one of the most robust aeronautical systems in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In turn, Manuel Luna, Chief Communications and External Affairs Officer of Arajet, noted that the aircraft bears the name of a natural symbol of Puerto Plata, known for its biodiversity and importance to the northern zone.
