Porter Airlines <\/strong>has taken a new step in its growth strategy from John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport<\/strong>. The airline has begun its first international operations from this terminal with direct flights to the United States and Mexico, expanding options for local travelers and strengthening its presence in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Routes to Florida<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The expansion began with two connections to Florida. Links to Orlando and Fort Lauderdale take off today and tomorrow, respectively. Each route will operate with three weekly frequencies during this initial phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mexico Joins the International Network<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Starting December 17, Porter will launch service to Cancun, with up to four weekly flights. One day later, on December 18, the route to Puerto Vallarta will begin, scheduled for two weekly operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These new connections broaden the range of leisure destinations available from Hamilton year-round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Onboard Experience on the Embraer E195-E2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All flights will be operated with the Embraer E195-E2, configured for 132 passengers in a two-by-two layout with no middle seat. The airline maintains its enhanced economy proposal, which includes free high-speed Wi-Fi, beer and wine served in real glassware, and quality complimentary snacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers with a PorterReserve fare have fresh meals included, while those traveling with PorterClassic can purchase additional options onboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustained Growth Since June<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Porter began operations in Hamilton in June with four domestic routes to Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, and Vancouver. These destinations remain active year-round and are now integrated into a broader network that includes the new options to the south.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
