LATAM Brazil <\/strong>has confirmed two key adjustments to its international operation for 2026: an increase in frequencies between S\u00e3o Paulo\/Guarulhos and Barcelona, and the reactivation of the seasonal route to Bariloche during the Southern Hemisphere winter. Both decisions aim to improve connectivity to high-demand destinations and provide more alternatives for those planning trips abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aline Mafra, Sales and Marketing Director of LATAM Brazil, stated that this expansion responds to market movements and passenger interest. According to her, Barcelona remains one of the preferred connections for customers, while Bariloche retains its appeal as a winter destination. This growth helps offer variety, flexibility, and a solid experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Return of Bariloche for the Winter Season<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The company will resume operations on the route from Brazil to Bariloche between June 15 and August 30, 2026. Flights will depart from S\u00e3o Paulo\/Guarulhos daily, using Airbus A320 family aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This decision follows a successful resumption of the route in 2025, with results that encouraged its return for the following winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strengthening the Barcelona Route<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The S\u00e3o Paulo\/Guarulhos\u2013Barcelona connection will see an increased offer in May, September, and October 2026. During those months, the service will increase from six to seven weekly operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

May:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional flights will operate between May 3 and 11, with departures on Sundays and returns on Mondays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

September and October:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The increased service will be available from September 6 to October 19, also with Sunday departures and Monday returns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this adjustment, the route will have daily operations from May through October. Flights will continue to be operated by Boeing 787-9 aircraft, known for their efficiency and lower environmental impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With more flights to Barcelona and the return of Bariloche in 2026, LATAM Brazil is reinforcing a strategy focused on addressing real demand and expanding travel options. The expansion of the network, along with the company’s growing domestic presence, confirms a period of consolidation for the carrier in the Brazilian market and in its international operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
