Between January and November 2025, the Panamanian terminal registered solid growth in passengers, operations, and cargo, confirming its strategic role for regional connectivity, tourism, and international trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustained Growth in Passenger Traffic<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to official data, Tocumen handled a cumulative total of 19,077,714 passengers between January and November 2025, representing a 9% increase compared to the same period in 2024. This result demonstrates a solid recovery in air traffic and the sustained confidence of airlines and travelers in a platform recognized for its operational efficiency and extensive connection network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

November Confirms Positive Trend<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In November 2025 alone, the airport served 1,773,511 passengers, maintaining a favorable year-over-year trend. Of that total, 72% were transit passengers, equivalent to 1,274,785 people, reinforcing Tocumen’s role as a key hub between North America, South America, the Caribbean, and Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flow of passengers entering the country also showed an upward trend. Between January and November, 2,566,250 disembarked passengers were recorded, a figure reflecting 5% growth, or 121,478 additional passengers compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During November, Tocumen International Airport recorded an average of approximately 59,117 daily passenger movements. The highest volumes were concentrated on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays, and Mondays, demonstrating sustained demand throughout the week and the importance of maintaining high operational and service standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
