Venezuela<\/strong> took a significant step to strengthen its presence in the Asian tourism market after holding a strategic meeting with representatives from Air China<\/strong> during the International Travel Mart (CITM). The central focus of the meeting was evaluating alternatives to improve air connectivity between the two nations, a key factor for boosting tourism, trade, and cultural exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Minister of People’s Power for Tourism, Leticia G\u00f3mez, led the talks with Li Liyang, General Marketing Manager of Air China, with the goal of positioning Venezuela as a competitive destination within the Asian market. The meeting also included the participation of Venezuela\u2019s Ambassador to China, Remigio Ceballos, who supported the diplomatic efforts aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the conversation, Venezuela formally expressed its interest in moving toward greater air connectivity. Air China representatives expressed a favorable disposition to analyze operational schemes that would make this cooperation viable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This engagement highlights the mutual interest in exploring solutions that shorten geographical distances through efficient and modern air connectivity, aligned with the current needs of the international market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
