China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited (CALC) <\/strong>announced on Tuesday the signing of a firm order with Airbus for 30 aircraft from the A320neo Family<\/strong>, a move aimed at responding to strong global demand from its clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An Order that Strengthens a Long-Term Relationship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This new agreement represents the fifth order placed by CALC with Airbus since the start of their collaboration. With this deal, the total number of Airbus aircraft ordered by the company reaches 282 units, of which 203 belong to the A320neo Family, solidifying this model as the central pillar of its portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mike Poon, Chief Executive Officer and CEO of CALC, highlighted the strategic importance of this relationship, noting that the sustained partnership with the European manufacturer has been key to the company’s growth. He explained that the new order reflects a shared vision focused on innovation and the development of more sustainable aviation, while also enabling CALC to continue offering modern, high-value solutions to airlines worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Airbus Values CALC’s Renewed Confidence<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

From Airbus, Beno\u00eet de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry, Executive Vice President of Commercial Aircraft Sales, emphasized that CALC has been a valuable partner since its first order in 2012. For the executive, receiving renewed confidence from the lessor is a recognition of its deep market knowledge and its ability to anticipate its clients’ needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De Saint-Exup\u00e9ry stated that this commitment reinforces CALC’s position as one of the most robust leasing companies, backed by single-aisle aircraft renowned for their efficiency, versatility, and high demand in today’s market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A320neo Family, a Benchmark in the Single-Aisle Segment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The A320 Family remains the world’s most popular single-aisle aircraft line, with over 19,000 cumulative orders globally. Within this range is the A321neo, the largest member, recognized for offering superior range and performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Operationally, these models enable at least a 20% fuel saving and an equivalent reduction in CO\u2082 emissions compared to previous-generation aircraft. This is complemented by greater passenger comfort, thanks to one of the widest single-aisle cabins available today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this new order, CALC reinforces its commitment to efficient and modern aircraft, aligned with market demands and the sustainability objectives guiding the aviation industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
