The opening is not merely a geographic expansion: it represents another step in the airline\u2019s strategy of using new-generation, high-efficiency aircraft to connect long-haul markets with growing demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The capital of the state of Cear\u00e1 also becomes a new gateway to the Brazilian Northeast, a region that combines international tourist traffic with an increasingly relevant corporate flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Frequencies, Schedules, and Initial Operation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The route will begin with three weekly frequencies, operating on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The return takes off from Pinto Martins International Airport at 18:20, landing in the Spanish capital at 06:05 the following day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The operation is carried out with the Airbus A321XLR, a narrow-body aircraft specifically designed for long-range missions, with an autonomy of up to 7,500 kilometers. This model has become a key asset for airlines looking to open point-to-point routes without the structural costs of a wide-body aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aircraft is configured with 182 seats in two classes: Business and Economy, and features the Airspace cabin, designed to enhance the perception of comfort on longer flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the opening of Fortaleza, Iberia strengthens
