The aircraft, carrying 55 people including passengers and crew, ended up beyond the runway limits and came to a halt on a beach adjacent to the airport after experiencing technical failures during takeoff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Incident<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to official reports issued by local authorities, the aircraft experienced a technical failure shortly after takeoff while bound for the city of Galkayo, forcing the crew to attempt an emergency return to the airport. During the emergency landing maneuver, the aircraft overran the runway and ended up in the coastal area adjacent to the airfield. The Somali aviation authority confirmed that there were no fatalities. However, several passengers required medical attention for minor injuries and shock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Operational Impact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The airport maintained general operations.
