Wingo <\/strong>resumed its operations between Medell\u00edn and Caracas<\/strong> this Sunday, marking a significant step in the restoration of binational connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The connection from the capital of Antioquia will operate with three weekly frequencies<\/strong> on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The launch of the route between Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda C\u00f3rdova International Airport (MDE)<\/strong> and Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar International Airport (CCS)<\/strong> is a fundamental piece of Wingo’s 2026 growth strategy. This expansion follows the restart of its flights from Bogot\u00e1 on January 16th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Jorge Jim\u00e9nez, the company\u2019s Vice President of Commercial and Planning, this growth aims to offer accessible connectivity under a low-cost model<\/strong> that balances competitive pricing with flexibility and reliability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wingo also announced that starting next April, the Bogot\u00e1\u2013Caracas<\/strong> route will transition to a daily flight service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline projects it will carry 114,000 passengers<\/strong> by the end of this year on its routes to Caracas, which would represent a 30% increase in traffic volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tickets for these connections are already available through official sales channels, including the airline’s website and mobile application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
