This measure represents the first concrete step toward the U.S. carrier&#8217;s return to the country following an interruption of more than six years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Operational Details and Authorized Routes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The approval issued by the USDOT allows the airline to operate connections from Miami International Airport (MIA) to two strategic destinations within Venezuelan territory:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Caracas<\/strong>, the nation&#8217;s capital.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Maracaibo<\/strong>, the primary economic hub of western Venezuela.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the official document, the operation will not be conducted directly with American Airlines&#8217; mainline fleet, but rather through its regional carrier, <strong>Envoy Air<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the green light from the USDOT and the recent TSA inspection, the regulatory infrastructure is in place for the return of direct aerial connectivity.
