This strategic expansion aims to strengthen connectivity between the Dominican Republic and Venezuela, while further consolidating its footprint across Central America and the Caribbean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Inroads into Venezuela<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A cornerstone of this petition is the establishment of direct connections to three of Venezuela\u2019s primary cities. These operations are slated to run from both <strong>Las Am\u00e9ricas International Airport (SDQ)<\/strong> in Santo Domingo and <strong>Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Caracas<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Valencia<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Maracaibo<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2026\/03\/arajet-expands-fleet-with-arrival-of-its-14th-boeing-737-max.html\">Arajet Expands Fleet with Arrival of its 14th Boeing 737 MAX<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Punta Cana as a New Regional Expansion Hub<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to its offensive in the Venezuelan market, the airline plans to diversify its offerings from Punta Cana toward multiple strategic destinations throughout the Caribbean and Central America:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Central America:<\/strong> San Jos\u00e9, Costa Rica, and Guatemala City.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Caribbean:<\/strong> Aruba, Cura\u00e7ao, Port of Spain, Bridgetown, and Georgetown.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the <strong>operational plan<\/strong> submitted to the JAC, Arajet intends to launch these services in <strong>July 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this move, Arajet advances its strategy to solidify the Dominican Republic as a major <strong>aviation hub<\/strong> for regional connectivity, facilitating
