Iberia<\/strong> has announced a strategic reconfiguration of its operations between Spain and Japan<\/strong> for the 2026 winter season. Starting October 24, the Spanish flag carrier will adapt the schedules and operating days of its direct route between Adolfo Su\u00e1rez Madrid-Barajas Airport and Tokyo Narita International Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The primary objective of these changes is to offer a more comfortable travel experience and, fundamentally, to optimize connections for transit passengers. By shifting the flights to a different time slot, Iberia seeks to improve the efficiency of its hub network in Madrid, facilitating the flow of travelers between Asia, Europe, and Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main technical update is that, starting with the winter season, the route will operate entirely as an overnight service on both the outbound and return legs.
