Iberia<\/strong> and the Mexican carrier Viva <\/strong>have reached a strategic agreement that will enable connections between the new Monterrey \u2013 Madrid route and 32 cities within Mexico. This alliance aims to streamline transatlantic travel, allowing passengers to fly with a single reservation and through-check baggage to their final destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Strategic Alliance for the Transatlantic Market<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Just months before the launch of the direct route between the capital of Nuevo Le\u00f3n and Spain, Iberia has strengthened its presence in Mexican territory. The primary objective is to offer a comprehensive connectivity network linking the country’s most significant airports with Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mar\u00eda Jes\u00fas L\u00f3pez Sol\u00e1s, Iberia\u2019s Commercial, Network Development, and Alliances Director, highlighted that this operation makes it easier for passengers from cities such as Tijuana to connect with European capitals like Paris or Rome seamlessly. For his part, Javier Su\u00e1rez, Viva\u2019s Vice President of Strategy, Planning, and Alliances, emphasized that European travelers will now have access to more than 30 domestic and international routes operated by Mexico’s most modern fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
