WestJet and Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS)<\/strong> have strengthened their codeshare agreement for the second time in three months, optimizing summer connectivity between Canada and Scandinavia. This expansion is built upon the new non-stop route between Halifax Stanfield International Airport and Copenhagen-Castrup Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strengthening the Transatlantic Network<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The expansion of this strategic alliance allows passengers from both airlines to access a more robust network during the summer season. WestJet now offers its customers the ability to travel to multiple destinations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland under a single ticket, featuring streamlined baggage transfers and the capacity to earn benefits through the WestJet Rewards program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For its part, SAS has integrated its code into WestJet\u2019s seasonal service connecting the Danish capital with Halifax. This measure facilitates direct access to the Atlantic Canada region for travelers from across Europe and the global SAS network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
