easyJet<\/strong> has inaugurated a three-aircraft base in Marrakech<\/strong>, marking a significant milestone in its long-term partnership with the Moroccan National Tourist Office (MNTO)<\/strong> and strengthening its European connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Strategic Commitment to the Moroccan Market<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The inauguration of the new base was attended by Kenton Jarvis<\/strong>, the airline’s Chief Executive Officer; Achraf Fayda<\/strong>, Director of the Moroccan National Tourist Office (MNTO); and Adel El Fakir<\/strong>, Director of the National Airports Office (ONDA). This opening is part of a strategic alliance signed in the fall of 2025 to bolster tourism in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this new infrastructure, the carrier expects to reach a record 4 million seats<\/strong> during the first year of operation. Furthermore, the base enables the creation of 100 direct jobs<\/strong> and thousands of indirect positions, consolidating the company as the second most important operator in Marrakech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Route Network Expansion and Year-Round Connectivity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As part of this launch, the airline announced six new routes<\/strong> to Morocco for the upcoming winter season, bringing its total network in the country to 58 itineraries<\/strong>, 30 of which connect with Marrakech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
