Copa Airlines <\/strong>announced this Thursday the restart of its operations in Barcelona, Anzo\u00e1tegui <\/strong>state, beginning June 2, 2026. With this reactivation, the airline completes the recovery of its destination network in Venezuela, joining its current services in Caracas, Maracaibo, Valencia, and Barquisimeto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Restoring Connectivity in Eastern Venezuela<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The airline’s return to General Jos\u00e9 Antonio Anzo\u00e1tegui International Airport represents the fifth and final destination that remained to be activated in the country. This operation aims to expand travel options for passengers in eastern and southern Venezuela, facilitating access to a network of more than 85 destinations in 32 countries across the American continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roberto Pulido, General Manager of Copa Airlines in Venezuela, highlighted that Barcelona is an essential piece in the company’s trajectory, which began flights to said city four years ago. According to the executive, this is the final step in recovering the total operational capacity maintained until 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
