Volotea and ITA Airways<\/strong> have announced the launch of a codeshare agreement that entered into force on April 15, 2026. This strategic alliance marks a key milestone in improving connectivity between Italy and the rest of Europe, offering a combined network of up to 104 travel combinations for passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Natural Step in Strategic Cooperation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The new agreement represents the evolution of a relationship that began last year with the signing of an interline agreement. By elevating the cooperation to a codeshare level, both companies aim to respond flexibly to a constantly evolving market, facilitating access to key destinations with the convenience of a single ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Volotea, the airline focused on small and medium-sized European cities, this step reinforces its commercial visibility in new markets.
