This configuration redefines the onboard experience of the world&#8217;s largest passenger aircraft by incorporating seats from the manufacturer <strong>Thompson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The key features of the new cabin include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Premium Dimensions:<\/strong> The new seats boast a width of 58 cm and convert into a fully flat bed at least two meters in length.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Direct Access:<\/strong> Each of the 68 seats in the cabin offers direct aisle access, eliminating the need to disturb other passengers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Flexible Privacy:<\/strong> Adjustable partitions have been installed, allowing travelers to customize their personal space according to their needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Entertainment Technology and Connectivity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to furniture upgrades, the In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) system has been comprehensively updated to meet current technological demands. The first aircraft, nicknamed \u201cMike-Charly,\u201d completed its transformation in just under twelve weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following a ferry flight to Munich, the D-AIMC performed its inaugural flight with the new configuration this Thursday, operating route <strong>LH452<\/strong> to Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Next Steps in Fleet Modernization<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Lufthansa is not slowing down its upgrade operations. On the same day that work concluded on the first aircraft, modernization began on the next unit: <strong>D-AIMH \u201cMike-Hotel,\u201d<\/strong> recognizable by its blue anniversary livery featuring the XXL-sized crane logo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This retrofit program is being executed in parallel with routine aircraft maintenance tasks. According to the company&#8217;s official schedule, all eight of Lufthansa&#8217;s Airbus A380s are expected to feature the new Business Class cabin by mid-2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2
