What began in 2021 with 11 destinations on the West Coast has been transformed into a robust operation that spans 34 destinations across 14 states and Puerto Rico, operating a total of 58 routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Horizons and Operating Bases<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline continues to strengthen its footprint with both immediate and long-term plans:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>New Routes:<\/strong> Over the next two months, services will be inaugurated to Cleveland, Ohio, and Indianapolis, Indiana.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Texas Expansion:<\/strong> By the end of this year, Avelo will open its first aircraft base in Texas, specifically at McKinney National Airport in North Dallas, where it will initially employ 50 crew members.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Current Bases:<\/strong> McKinney National Airport will join existing bases in New Haven, Wilmington, Lakeland, and Concord.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Operational Excellence and Customer Satisfaction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Avelo has distinguished itself within the industry through its operational reliability. Throughout 2025, the airline ranked among the top three in the United States for on-time performance and low cancellation rates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>On-Time Performance (A14):<\/strong> 79.95% of its flights arrived within 15 minutes of their scheduled time, meeting the Department of Transportation (DOT) standard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Low Cancellation Rate:<\/strong> The airline recorded one of the lowest cancellation rates in the industry at just 0.13%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Net Promoter Score:<\/strong> The company achieved a score of 51 in 2025, a level of satisfaction comparable to leading global consumer brands.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To foster loyalty, the airline launched the <strong>Avelo PLUS<\/strong> program in the fall of 2025\u2014a membership offering exclusive benefits such as discounted fares, complimentary priority boarding, and reward-sharing capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Strengthening the Boeing 737 Fleet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Avelo\u2019s growth is backed by a constant investment in technical capacity. The fleet has grown from just three aircraft at launch to 15 current aircraft, consisting of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>14 units<\/strong> of the Boeing 737-800 (189 seats).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1 unit<\/strong> of the Boeing 737-700 (149 seats).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The company already has commitments to receive two additional aircraft before the end of 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Avelo\u2019s Convenience Model<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline&#8217;s success lies in its focus on convenient secondary airports, avoiding the congestion of major terminals. Furthermore, it offers an &#8220;unbundled&#8221; service model, allowing passengers to pay only for what they value, such as seat assignments with extra legroom (between 32 and 36 inches) or cabin pet transportation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a standout family policy, Avelo guarantees that all children aged 14 or younger are automatically seated next to an accompanying adult at no additional cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;When we launched Avelo five years ago, our purpose was clear: to inspire travel by giving people a better way to fly,&#8221; said <strong>Andrew Levy, Founder and CEO of
