With 181 aircraft delivered through April and an expanding order book, the European manufacturer remains focused on scaling production to meet its ambitious annual targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Delivery Analysis: April Shows Signs of Recovery<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the cumulative figure between January and April 2026 stands 11 units below the same period last year, April showed signs of acceleration. During the fourth month of the year, the company successfully delivered 67 aircraft to 39 customers, representing an increase of 11 units compared to April 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Breakdown by Aircraft Family<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The narrowbody family continues to be the primary engine for the company, with the A320neo family leading the volume of transfers by a wide margin. Gross orders reached 436 units in the first four months, representing a 50% increase compared to the equivalent period in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specifically in April, new orders totaled 28 aircraft, 17 more than in the same month of the previous fiscal year. This monthly volume was broken down into:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>15 A350 family aircraft.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>11 A320 family aircraft (7 A321s and 4 A320s).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 A220 units.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Outlooks and Supply Chain Challenges<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After delivering 793 aircraft in 2025, the manufacturer has set a goal of reaching 870 commercial aircraft deliveries by the end of 2026. However, the path toward this objective is not without operational obstacles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CEO Guillaume Faury has confirmed that, while production is increasing as planned, the company continues to manage shortages and technical issues related to Pratt &amp; Whitney engines. This factor, combined with general tensions in the supply chain, remains the primary focal point for ensuring delivery stability within the A320 family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The balance of the first four months reflects an industry with robust demand that is testing the responsiveness of manufacturers, who must balance their order books against the logistical realities of their strategic
