United Airlines <\/strong>announced this Tuesday that it will resume daily, non-stop flights between its hub at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston and Caracas <\/strong>starting August 11, 2026. This operation marks the U.S. carrier’s return to Venezuela after suspending its services in June 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reactivation of this air route represents the reopening of a fundamental economic gateway for the region. The link will not only open new commercial opportunities but will also significantly facilitate the reunification of thousands of families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Houston, the airline currently offers up to 100 daily operations to more than 50 destinations throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Thanks to this network, travelers coming from Venezuela will be able to connect from Houston to more than 180 destinations around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, United Airlines will inaugurate the transformation of Terminal B in Houston at the end of this year. This infrastructure project involves a $2 billion investment and will offer 22 new gates for the mainline fleet, as well as housing the largest United Club lounge in its entire network system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
