Air India <\/strong>has announced the opening of The Maharaja Lounge <\/strong>at San Francisco International Airport<\/strong>, consolidating a new phase in the global transformation of its premium experience. This space becomes the airline’s first proprietary, signature lounge outside of Indian territory, marking a milestone in its international positioning strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Strategic Hub for North American Expansion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The new lounge, located adjacent to Gate A1, will open its doors to the public this Saturday, May 23, 2026. The facilities span 3,300 square feet and have the capacity to accommodate up to 80 passengers simultaneously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access to this space will be reserved for passengers traveling in First and Business Class, as well as Gold and Platinum tier members of the carrier’s frequent flyer program, the Maharaja Club. Additionally, the venue incorporates an exclusive, restricted area designated for First Class passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
