Saudia<\/strong>, the national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has officially taken delivery of its first Airbus A321XLR<\/strong>, cementing its position as the first airline in the Middle East and Africa to introduce this advanced, extra-long-range single-aisle aircraft into its fleet. This key delivery will drive the expansion of its international network under the framework of the Saudi Vision 2030 strategic state program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Powered by CFM International LEAP-1A engines, this aircraft represents the first of a total order of 15 A321XLRs by the carrier. The integration of this model serves as a cornerstone of Saudia\u2019s comprehensive fleet modernization program, designed to boost capacity and enhance connectivity across its global network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deployment of these new aircraft will directly support the Kingdom’s goal of attracting more than 150 million annual visitors by the end of this decade.
