Air China Cargo <\/strong>has signed a purchase agreement with Airbus<\/strong> to acquire four additional A350F freighters<\/strong>, bringing its total order book for the type to ten aircraft. This strategic move aims to optimize the carrier’s fleet structure and expand its transport capacity to align with the evolving demands of the international air cargo market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strategic Expansion and Fleet Optimization<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Asian cargo carrier initially ordered six A350F aircraft in November 2025. With the addition of these four new units, the company establishes a solid foundation for long-term growth and stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wang Hongyan, Vice President of Air China Cargo, highlighted the impact of this acquisition:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beno\u00eet de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry, Executive Vice President (EVP) of Sales for Airbus’ Commercial Aircraft business, underscored the significance of the agreement for the European airframer: “We are very pleased with Air China Cargo\u2019s decision to increase its order for the A350F freighter. It reflects Air China Cargo\u2019s full confidence in Airbus products and reaffirms the A350F\u2019s leading position as the next-generation freighter.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
