Starting November 28, the airline will directly link <strong>Murcia with Houari Boumediene International Airport in Algiers<\/strong>, marking an unprecedented milestone in the transport infrastructure of the Murcian community by establishing its first-ever air link with Algeria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Operational Details of the New Trans-Mediterranean Route<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ticket sales open today, Friday, with base fares structured from 29 euros per leg. The operational schedule designed by Volotea for this international link comprises two weekly frequencies, specifically scheduled for Tuesdays and Saturdays, optimizing traffic flows for the corporate and VFR (Visiting Friends and Relatives) segments, as well as leisure tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flight schedules and time slots confirmed by the airline are distributed as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Murcia \u2013 Algiers:<\/strong> Scheduled departure from Murcia Airport at 17:30, arriving at Algiers Airport at 18:45.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Algiers \u2013 Murcia:<\/strong> The return flight will take off from the Algerian capital at 19:45, with an estimated arrival time at the Murcian terminal at 21:00.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2026\/07\/volotea-expands-malaga-network-with-launch-of-new-route-to-limoges-france.html\">Volotea Expands Malaga Network with Launch of New Route to Limoges, France<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Strategic Consolidation and New Markets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This move aligns with the carrier&#8217;s international diversification strategy, which aims to mitigate the effects of tourism seasonality in the region by opening alternative source markets. With this addition, Volotea&#8217;s network of destinations from Murcia Airport rises to a total of seven routes operated across four key countries:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Spain:<\/strong> Domestic connections to Asturias, Barcelona, and Bilbao.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>France:<\/strong> Links to Lille and Marseille.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Italy:<\/strong> Direct connectivity to Venice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Algeria:<\/strong> The new route to Algiers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, in line with seasonal capacity reinforcement for the 2026\u20132027 winter season, the airline has confirmed a capacity increase on its domestic route to Bilbao.
