A key milestone in terms of demand stimulation is that more than 15 million people flew for the first time, driven by the introduction of low fares and a highly efficient operational model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, JetSMART has developed an interconnected network spanning more than 90 routes to over 50 destinations across nine countries, maintaining fully consolidated domestic operations in four strategic markets: Chile, Argentina, Peru, and Colombia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fleet Structure, Operational Efficiency, and Sustainability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>JetSMART\u2019s business model is anchored by three primary operational pillars: an optimized cost structure, a homogenous next-generation fleet, and a comprehensive focus on operational safety and customer experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fleet Specifications and Capacity<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Active Fleet:<\/strong> The airline operates a total of 56 Airbus A320neo and Airbus A321neo family aircraft, positioning itself as the most modern and efficient fleet in Latin America.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Firm Order Book:<\/strong> The carrier&#8217;s long-term growth strategy is backed by a firm order for over 125 additional Airbus aircraft, intended to support increased frequency density and the opening of new operational bases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fuel Efficiency and Decarbonization:<\/strong> In 2025, aviation analytics firm Cirium recognized JetSMART as the most efficient airline in Latin America for $\\text{CO}_2$ emissions per seat, a direct result of the thermal and aerodynamic performance of its Neo fleet propulsion technology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">International Accreditation and IATA Membership<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In terms of regulatory compliance and operational governance, the airline reached major milestones by successfully completing the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) across all of its Air Operator Certificates (AOCs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In parallel, the carrier formalized its entry as a full member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), aligning its standards with global commercial aviation best practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding customer satisfaction, aviation consultancy Skytrax awarded JetSMART the title of Best Low-Cost Airline in South America in 2025 for the third time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTen years ago, we set out to bring a revolution to the South American aviation market: to make air travel accessible to every South American through the ultra-low-cost model. commercial initiatives throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the network development front, JetSMART officially announced a new direct international route connecting Buenos Aires&#8217; Ministro Pistarini International Airport (Ezeiza) with Medell\u00edn&#8217;s Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda C\u00f3rdova International Airport, set to launch in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking ahead to the next decade,
