Alaska Airlines<\/strong> is expanding its transatlantic footprint from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport <\/strong>with the announcement of two new seasonal nonstop routes to Paris, France, and Athens, Greece<\/strong>, starting in May 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With these additions, the carrier’s transoceanic network will reach seven direct intercontinental destinations from Seattle. This commercial move responds directly to high demand from Atmos\u2122 Rewards loyalty program members, aligning with executive leadership’s strategic plan to transform Seattle into the Pacific Northwest’s premier international gateway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Milestone for Pacific Northwest Connectivity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Seattle \u2013 Athens Route<\/strong>
Alaska Airlines will achieve an industry milestone by becoming the first airline to operate a nonstop flight between Seattle and the Greek capital. The seasonal service will launch on May 12, 2027, operating three times weekly, making it the longest route by geographical distance in the carrier’s history and the only direct link between the U.S. West Coast and Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seattle \u2013 Paris Route<\/strong>
Service to the French capital\u2014one of the most searched destinations on the airline’s website\u2014will launch on May 25, 2027. The route will feature five weekly frequencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, schedule restructuring across the carrier’s network will enable same-day connections between Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu, Hawaii\u2014the company’s second-largest hub\u2014and Paris via the Seattle hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
