To make way for the new route to the French capital, LOT will suspend its existing connection between Gdansk and Oslo, reallocating capacity to a market with stronger mixed demand (business and leisure).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, the launch carries historical significance for the airline: 2026\u20132027 marks the 80th anniversary of the inaugural Warsaw\u2013Paris route, launched on July 4, 1946. The addition of Gdansk represents LOT&#8217;s first direct regional link to Paris outside its primary hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Paris is one of the key economic and business hubs in Europe, as well as one of the most prominent tourist destinations. The launch of a direct flight from Gdansk strengthens LOT Polish Airlines&#8217; offering in the regional market and opens up new travel opportunities between the Pomeranian region and France. In the year marking the 80th anniversary of the original Warsaw\u2013Paris route, we are writing a new chapter by adding Gdansk.&#8221;<br><strong>\u2014 Robert Ludera, Management Board Member and Paris-Charles de Gaulle addresses logistical and urban connectivity factors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Geographical Location:<\/strong> Situated 13 kilometers south of central Paris, Orly offers more direct access to both the city center and the southern districts of the French capital.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Intermodal Connectivity:<\/strong> The airport is integrated into the Paris public transit network via Metro Line 14, enabling a 25-to-30-minute connection between the terminal and downtown Paris, with key transfers at stations such as Gare de Lyon and Ch\u00e2telet-Les Halles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Surface Transportation:<\/strong> Infrastructure options are further complemented by the tramway network (Line T7) and multiple bus
