This development represents an approximate 20% expansion in floor space compared to the existing operational facilities in Dock A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Decommissioning of Dock A Facilities and Enhanced Amenities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the commissioning of the new infrastructure in Q1 2027, SWISS will permanently decommission its current Dock A lounges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The architectural layout of the new facilities focuses on elevating the passenger experience for corporate and high-yield travelers through the following specifications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Architecture and Lighting:<\/strong> Open-concept space featuring a continuous glass facade designed to maximize natural daylight while offering panoramic views of the apron, runways, and the Alps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Soundproof Workspace Infrastructure:<\/strong> Approximately 20 fully soundproofed individual workstations distributed across both lounges.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Optimized Passenger Flow:<\/strong> Direct positioning above the bus gates to streamline transit times for passengers boarding flights at remote stands.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2026\/08\/swiss-strengthens-its-geneva-base-with-addition-of-higher-capacity-aircraft.html\">SWISS Strengthens Its Geneva Base with Addition of Higher-Capacity Aircraft<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exclusive Enhancements at the SWISS Senator Lounge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The new SWISS Senator Lounge will feature bespoke elements highlighting premium gastronomy and Swiss heritage:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Panoramic Bar:<\/strong> A dedicated bar area positioned directly against the window front, providing 180-degree views of Runway 34, the apron, and the Alps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gastronomic Curing Chamber:<\/strong> A custom wine humidor and aging space designed for the storage and service of selected regional cheeses and cured meats.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWith these new lounges, we are making a targeted investment in our customers&#8217; travel experience at our Zurich hub.
