Between January and July, a total of 34.3 million passengers traveled by air nationwide, marking a 5.1% increase compared to the same period in 2025, driven by strong domestic market momentum and international segment stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sustained Growth in Domestic and International Passenger Traffic<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to provisional figures from the Civil Aviation Authority&#8217;s Analytics Office (AEROCIVIL), 5.3 million passengers moved through the country&#8217;s airport network in July 2026 alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Domestic market performance served as the primary driver of this cumulative growth:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Domestic Traffic:<\/strong> Rose 5.7% between January and July, reaching 19.5 million passengers. This growth occurred in an operational environment characterized by stable airline service supply and route availability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>International Traffic:<\/strong> Recorded a 4.4% positive variation during the same seven-month period compared to 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Operational Performance of Cargo and Mail Transport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The air cargo and mail transport segment also maintained upward trends between January and July 2026, primarily driven by international operational volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In July 2026 alone, throughput reached 78,432 metric tons of cargo and mail, representing an increase of 5,310 metric tons (+7.26%) compared to July of the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the first seven months, the system handled 584,263 metric tons (+5.8%). The international market accounted for the vast majority of cargo operations at 501,718 metric tons, while the domestic market recorded 82,545 metric tons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The outlook points to the
