Lufthansa Group<\/strong> announced on Thursday that it will exercise options to acquire 20 Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft<\/strong>. These purchase rights were initially secured as part of a 2023 order for 40 MAX 8 units, which included a total of 60 options for additional narrowbody aircraft from the MAX family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By exercising these first 20 options, the airline group significantly strengthens its long-term capacity planning. Deliveries of these new aircraft are scheduled to commence in the early 2030s. Their induction is primarily aimed at the phased replacement of older Airbus A320 family aircraft across the group’s operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
