Alongside this operational expansion, the airline announced at the International Tourism Trade Fair (FIT) major enhancements to its Economy Cabin inclusions, as well as the planned evolution of its premium product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Frequency Expansion and Schedules on the Bogota\u2013Cordoba Route<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Service connecting the Colombian capital with the Argentine province has increased from three weekly flights to daily operations (seven weekly frequencies), operated by Airbus A320 aircraft in a 180-seat configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this capacity boost, the carrier is adding more than 2,500 weekly seats to the route, streamlining passenger and cargo traffic through its hub at Bogota\u2019s El Dorado International Airport (BOG).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Flight Schedules and Timings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Flight AV138:<\/strong> Departs Cordoba (COR) at 07:25 and arrives in Bogota (BOG) at 11:25 (daily operation).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Flight AV139:<\/strong> Departs Bogota (BOG) at 22:15 and arrives in Cordoba (COR) at 06:20 the following day (daily operation).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The frequency increase on the Bogota\u2013Cordoba route represents a major commitment by Avianca to this market and to our customers&#8217; connectivity. It also underscores Colombia&#8217;s strategic role as a hub offering connections to more than 80 destinations across Colombia, the Americas, and Europe. By shifting to daily service, we are not only providing greater choice and flexibility for travelers in both nations, but also driving bilateral trade, tourism, culture, and business,&#8221; said David Aleman, Avianca\u2019s Sales Director for Colombia and South America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2026\/09\/aerocivil-airbus-and-avianca-sign-technical-alliance-to-enhance-airspace-safety-redesign-in-bogota.html\">Aerocivil, Airbus, and Avianca Sign Technical Alliance to Enhance Airspace Safety Redesign in Bogot\u00e1<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Amenities and Service Enhancements in Economy Class<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During FIT, the carrier outlined the latest evolution of its passenger experience model for Economy travelers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Carry-On Baggage:<\/strong> All international fares now include one piece of carry-on baggage weighing up to 10 kg (22 lbs).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>In-Flight Catering:<\/strong> On international routes within the Americas exceeding 3.5 hours of block time, complimentary snack and beverage service is included.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Connectivity and IFE:<\/strong> Fleet-wide Wi-Fi rollouts are underway. Additionally, the in-flight entertainment (IFE) system offers over 600 titles across intra-Americas routes and more than 800 titles (movies, TV series, and audiovisual content) on long-haul services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Premium and Corporate Cabin Offerings: Business Class Americas and INSIGNIA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline\u2019s premium cabin architecture is segmented by route profile:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Business Class Americas:<\/strong> Available across all routes operated by the airline throughout the Americas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>INSIGNIA by Avianca:<\/strong> The flagship offering on nonstop flights to and from Europe, as well as on the Bogota\u2013New York (JFK) route, operated by Boeing 787 widebody aircraft.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INSIGNIA Evolution from 2027<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting in 2027, the INSIGNIA cabin experience will introduce next-generation suites featuring:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sliding privacy doors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>180-degree lie-flat seats.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Individual 4K resolution screens with Bluetooth audio pairing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Active noise-canceling headphones.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An elevated culinary and wellness concept developed in collaboration with Latin American talent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Industry Presence at FIT 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the Argentine market and regional air connectivity through its showcase at FIT 2026.
