The deal marks the airline&#8217;s first-ever direct order with the airframer, representing a strategic milestone in its fleet modernization and route network expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Strategic Deal Stemming from a French Presidential Visit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The acquisition of these two narrowbody jetliners was initially announced under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on May 5, 2026, during the official visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Yerevan. With the formal contract now signed, the agreement becomes a firm commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fleet Specifications: CFM Powerplants and High-Density Configuration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Both aircraft will feature next-generation technology aimed at optimizing the carrier&#8217;s operating performance and passenger capacity:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Powerplant:<\/strong> The aircraft will be powered by LEAP engines developed by CFM International (CFM).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cabin Layout:<\/strong> The airframes will be configured in a single-class, all-economy layout seating 239 passengers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Operational Role:<\/strong> The incoming aircraft will be central to fleet reinforcement and serve as a cornerstone for the company\u2019s network expansion plans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Established in 2021, FLYONE Armenia currently operates a fleet of 11 Airbus A320 Family aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aram Khachatryan, Chief Executive Officer of FLYONE Armenia, highlighted the significance of the agreement for both the airline and the country:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur first direct order with Airbus represents a major and symbolic milestone in FLYONE Armenia\u2019s development.
