Through supplementary purchase agreements and operating leases, the sub-fleet eventually peaked at an all-time total of 24 airframes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Operational History: From South American Debut to Global Network<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The first unit built for the airline\u2014an A340-642 with manufacturer serial number (MSN) 517, flying under the French test registration F-WWCR\u2014performed its maiden flight on October 10, 2003.
