Just this week, the carrier withdrew its final Airbus A330-200 from revenue service, retiring an airframe approximately 22 years old. This strategic phase-out cuts operational complexity and sets the foundation for a standardized cabin product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By the summer of 2028, Discover Airlines expects to take delivery of its third and fourth A350s. These initial four airframes are aircraft currently flying for Lufthansa out of its Munich hub, which will bring Discover\u2019s widebody fleet to 20 aircraft by mid-2028. In subsequent years, nine additional A350-900s are scheduled to join the fleet, progressively replacing the incumbent A330-300s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Intercontinental Reach and the &#8220;Ocean Blue&#8221; Cabin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The extended range of the A350-900 will unlock distant leisure markets previously outside the technical performance envelope of the existing fleet, opening access to destinations across South America, Central America, Southern Africa, and Southeast Asia. Parallel to the fleet transition, Discover Airlines will begin retrofitting its Airbus A330-300 fleet over the coming year with its new long-haul cabin product, dubbed &#8220;Ocean Blue,&#8221; expected to roll out on a steady monthly cadence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Flights scheduled on the Airbus A350-900 will be updated and officially filed in global distribution systems (GDS) and booking engines
