year-round with up to two weekly flights, positioning itself as a vital direct link to meet travel demand between both metropolises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new route complements the carrier&#8217;s existing service between Toronto and Istanbul, launched in December 2025, strategically reinforcing Air Transat&#8217;s market presence and competitiveness in Turkey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 not only accommodates point-to-point traffic, but also enhances the global reach of Canadian passengers through operational cooperation with Turkey&#8217;s flag carrier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Commercial Partnerships:<\/strong> Through interline and codeshare agreements between Air Transat and Turkish Airlines, passengers departing from Montreal and Toronto can seamlessly connect beyond Istanbul.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Onward Destinations:<\/strong> The network provides seamless onward connections to multiple domestic destinations across Turkey and diverse regions throughout Asia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Commenting on the addition of this destination to the network, Sebastian Ponce, Chief Revenue Officer at Transat, highlighted that expanding the carrier&#8217;s offering out of Montreal means adding destinations with rich cultural and historical appeal, which, combined with Turkish Airlines&#8217; connectivity, unlocks a superior
