{"id":99936,"date":"2020-09-11T19:52:23","date_gmt":"2020-09-11T19:52:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=99936"},"modified":"2020-09-11T19:54:11","modified_gmt":"2020-09-11T19:54:11","slug":"aeromexico-breaks-the-record-for-the-longest-flight-in-mexican-aviation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2020\/09\/aeromexico-breaks-the-record-for-the-longest-flight-in-mexican-aviation.html","title":{"rendered":"Aerom\u00e9xico breaks the record for the longest flight in Mexican aviation."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Aeromexico<\/strong> broke the record for the longest flight in Mexican aviation with a new direct cargo route from Hong Kong in the midst of the Covid-19 crisis, the airline announced Friday, reported <a href=\"https:\/en\/2020\/09\/over-500-flights-cancelled-in-japan-due-to-the-advance-of-typhoon-haishen.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">EFE<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>See also:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/en\/2020\/09\/aeromexico-seeks-to-fire-1000-flight-attendants.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Aerom\u00e9xico seeks to fire 1,000 Flight Attendants.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the company&#8217;s 19 Boeing 787 traveled 14,170 kilometers from the Chinese region to land this morning in Mexico City, 55 kilometers more than the recent flight between Shenzhen, China, and Mexico City, the company said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this, Hong Kong becomes Aeromexico&#8217;s sixth destination in Asia and the longest flight the airline has ever made, said Andres Conesa, the company&#8217;s general director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I remain convinced that challenges represent new opportunities. Thanks to our clients, the Hong Kong government and the airport authorities, today we mark a new achievement in our 86 year history,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flight from Hong Kong, detailed
