Canada to lift Boeing 737 MAX flight ban on January 20.
Canada announced on Monday that it will lift a nearly two-year flight ban on the Boeing 737 MAX on January 20, joining other countries such as the United States and Brazil that have authorized the plane to fly again.

Canada’s Transport Regulator also said in a statement that it had issued an airworthiness directive to foreign aircraft owners, maintenance engineers and civil aviation authorities, along with an interim order outlining airlines’ requirements for additional crew training, Reuters reported.
In addition, Air Canada said it would resume commercial operations of the Boeing 737 MAX on February 1.
The airline said the MAX will gradually return to its North American route network.
