Ryanair carried 11.1 million passengers in August.
Ireland’s Ryanair reported Thursday that it carried 11.1 million passengers in August, up 19.3% compared to last July, when it carried 9.3 million.
The airline also improved its occupancy rate, which stood at 82% in August, compared to 80% in July.

Ryanair said it operated more than 71,000 flights on its European route network during August, 10,000 more than in July.
Michael O’Leary, the airline’s CEO, said this week that the industry is experiencing a “strong recovery”, driven by the introduction of the European Union’s Covid certificates and increased demand for flights.
