Likewise, since April 2019, the low cost has operated 23 thousand flights in the country, of which 30% correspond to those carried out in 2019, 22% to those operated in 2020 and the rest to those carried out in 2021 and so far in 2022.
The airline has a network of 11 domestic destinations, the main ones being Cusco, Arequipa and Piura, which together account for 57.82% of the passengers that the low cost airline has transported in total.
Internationally, SKY currently has 4 destinations with direct flights from Lima: Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, Cancun and Punta Cana. In addition, on April 30, SKY will start flying to Bogota and in June to Miami, as part of its connectivity and expansion strategy in South America.

“Three years ago, SKY arrived to revolutionize the airline industry in Peru and today we are happy to announce that we are doing so. We already have 3.5 million passengers, a figure that excites us as it is equivalent to approximately 10% of the population of all of Peru. These results are further proof of the confidence of our passengers, who have helped us to consolidate our position as the low cost carrier with the most passengers transported in the country,” said José Raúl Vargas, general manager of SKY in Peru.
In line with the improvement of conditions for the airline industry in the country, this year, the airline plans to operate up to 14 domestic destinations and at least 6 international destinations, being Miami its latest launch, with which SKY would become the first Peruvian low cost airline to transport passengers from Lima to that city on direct flights at low cost fares.
Likewise, so far in 2022, the airline has gone from having 8 to 11 aircraft and plans to reach 13 by the end of the year. With this, it expects to continue expanding its connectivity network and to continue increasing its share of the Peruvian domestic and international market.
