Avior Airlines will not be able to land in Colombia until debts with airports are paid.
The Minister of Transportation, Guillermo Reyes, stated this Tuesday that they are waiting for the result of the meeting of the presidents of Colombia and Venezuela, to know the day of the resumption of air operations between the two countries.
He ratified that the Venezuelan airlines that are authorized to fly to Colombia are: Laser Airlines, Turpial and Avior, which are awaiting the decision of the heads of state, reported Caracol Radio.

“But I have to say that, despite the fact that Avior is authorized, it has problems in Colombia due to a series of specific processes in relation to the operators of the El Dorado airport in Bogota and the operators of the Rionegro airport, who will not allow its planes to land at these airports until they are up to date with their debts,” the minister explained.
He also stated that in the case of Colombian airlines, Avianca, Latam and Wingo are already authorized and the state-owned airline Satena joins the list.
“Satena is already in the process of being authorized, I believe the Venezuelan National Institute of Civil Aeronautics has already authorized it to operate charter flights”, said Reyes.
