Delta to offer free wifi on flights starting February 1
U.S. airline Delta Air Lines will offer from February 1 free wifi service to its passengers thanks to an agreement with T-Mobile, the mobile network operator announced Thursday as part of the CES technology show being held in Las Vegas.
“At T-Mobile, we believe that staying connected while traveling should be an easy and hassle-free experience,” Mike Sievert, chief executive officer of T-Mobile, said in a statement.

No-cost wifi will be implemented on most of Delta’s domestic flights starting next month and more than 700 aircraft are expected to offer this service by the end of 2023, EFE reported.
In addition, the companies expect expansion to international routes by the end of 2024.
“To connect, passengers simply log in to their Delta SkyMiles account, or register for free, while on the ground or on the plane,” the text explains.
With this move, Delta joins JetBlue as the U.S. airlines offering free wireless internet connectivity to all passengers.
