British Airways lands in Aruba and Guyana
British Airways inaugurated flights from the British capital to Aruba and Guyana, increasing to 17 the total number of destinations served in the region.
Last Sunday, the airline inaugurated the route between London-Gatwick and the island of Aruba, which will operate two weekly frequencies via Antigua (Thursday and Sunday).
On Monday, British Airways launched its London-Gatwick and Georgetown, Guyana flights, which will operate twice weekly frequencies via St Lucia (Monday and Thursday).

Both routes will be operated on Boeing 777-200 aircraft featuring three classes: Club (business), World Traveller Plus (premium economy) and World Traveller (economy).
Also on March 26, British Airways began direct flights to Port of Spain (Trinidad), which will operate three times a week from London-Gatwick. Previously, the flight made a stopover in St Lucia.
Round-trip fares are £520 to Oranjestad (Aruba), £499 to Georgetown (Guyana) and £520 to Port of Spain (Trinidad).
