Edelweiss announced Wednesday that it will fly to Bogota and Cartagena from Zurich starting November 22, 2023, expanding its long-haul network to 23 destinations.
The route will operate two flights per week (Wednesdays and Sundays) on Airbus A340-300 aircraft with capacity for 314 passengers.

The flights will take off from Zurich at 09:25, landing in Bogota at 15:30 (local time). They will then leave the Colombian capital at 17:00, arriving in Cartagena at 18:30. From Rafael Núñez Airport they will take off at 19:40 direct to Switzerland, where they will land at 12:05 the following day.
“We hope to bring many tourists from Switzerland to visit and explore this beautiful and diverse country. The new flight will also create a new and efficient way for Colombians traveling to Switzerland or further afield to Europe thanks to the excellent connectivity through the Zurich hub,” Edelweiss commented in a statement.
